I Interviewed the owner of a sewing’ manufactory located around Lad Phrao. In the process of making each clothes, there are scrap and rags approximately 30 percent from cut off. Then he sells to the middleman to get money back but they are still keeping in the warehouse. So I see it quite a lot, I ask them to give me a few to produce scrap and rags invaluable.

I researched textile design — design, process making, recycling. And I found it normally that manufactory recycling used denim into new cotton even recycle plastic bottles to the fabric but it needs 100% polyester or nylon to combine. In the traditional way, they created a textile with traditional tools. In Material Center at TCDC has a lot of material that sustainable most of them are produced by the difficult method and complicated.

I plan to reverse the waste to new material because every material is invaluable. Each craft is from rags and scraps. It is not junk. It is a high-quality material that can reuse in a creative way to achieve ultimate benefit. I found a punching needle tool, it’s using to making craftwork and embroidery things. Using rags and scraps instead of rope yarn to create a textile. It will use a different type of fabric in this textile. For example, if I need blue on the work I might pick jean rag.
